Cybersecurity Aligned to NIST SP 800-171 for the information we handle on your behalf. CMMC applies to contractor information systems that process controlled information, not to building services as such. However, where a flow-down names a level, we respond to it.
Delivery model Self-performed custodial, grounds, waste, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance under one site manager and one escalation path. Scope stops at the production equipment line; even so, corrugate removal and recycling is the one task that crosses it.
Insurance Maintained at the levels defense prime contracts require. Certificate of insurance available on request.
References Provided under NDA on request. For example, a New York defense and aerospace client renewed in March 2026 for seven years.

Why supplier qualification for a cleared site is different

Your scorecard measures savings against baseline, supplier rationalization, on-time onboarding, and the absence of surprise change orders. A facility services supplier fails you in two ways. Either it subcontracts the labor, so the people on your floor are not the people you qualified, or it cannot work in controlled space without an escort, so the true cost lands on your cleared employees instead of the invoice.

IH Services self-performs the work with its own cleared staff, which removes both problems from your category. As a result, one record in your system covers custodial, grounds, waste, and MEP maintenance, with one escalation path and one name on the corrective action.

Finally, the proof points we publish are the ones we can defend: 99 percent on-time work-order completion, 98 percent client retention, and 100 percent of client-defined reduction targets met. We measure all three through R3 Secure FacilityOps, our operating system for secure sites.

Supplier qualification for a cleared site: five questions

In practice, five questions separate self-performing cleared providers from brokers and commodity vendors. Therefore, ask all five of every candidate, then compare the answers side by side.

1

Who performs the labor?

Own employees, or subcontractors? Either way, specifically ask for the share of hours self-performed on a current defense site.

2

Who runs security?

Is there a dedicated Facility Security Officer, and if so, under what program? Above all, can your FSO speak to theirs?

3

What are the numbers?

EMR and current TRIR as figures, as well as on-time work-order rate and client retention, each with a source.

4

Where have they done it?

Named defense or aerospace environments, with the kind of space (production, controlled, lab) and, equally important, a reference you can call under NDA.

5

Can they hand you the record?

CAGE, UEI, NAICS, SAM status, and a capability statement in one reply. A supplier who cannot do that is simply not ready for your portal.

Building next year’s category plan? We build a no-cost Scope Baseline from the documents you authorize. It classifies every recurring task in the current facility scope as value-added, preferential, required non-value-added, or waste, with protected cost, recoverable cost, and a Scope Value Index you can take into a rebid. Of course, we agree an NDA before anything changes hands.

Supplier qualification questions sourcing teams ask

What are IH Services’ CAGE code, UEI, and registrations?

IH Services, Inc. holds an active SAM registration with CAGE code 1JXW7 and UEI EGR9H17YE9H3. In addition, its registered NAICS codes are 561210 (facilities support services), 561720 (janitorial services), 561740 (carpet and upholstery cleaning), 238220 (plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning contractors), and 562111 (solid waste collection). The company dates from 1955; moreover, it belongs to GDI Integrated Facility Services.

How do I build a longlist of cleared, self-performing facility services suppliers with CAGE codes?

Start in SAM.gov with the NAICS codes for the services you buy (561210, 561720, 238220, 562111 are the usual four for facility services), then filter to active registrations. After that, ask each candidate for the same five things: self-performed or subcontracted labor, a dedicated Facility Security Officer and the security program it runs under, safety EMR and TRIR, named defense-site experience, and a capability statement with the CAGE code on it. A supplier who cannot answer all five in one reply is usually either not self-performing or not set up for cleared work. IH Services’ answers, of course, are on this page.

What safety metrics should a facility services vendor be asked for?

Ask for the experience modification rate (EMR) as well as the current-year total recordable incident rate (TRIR), and ask for both as numbers rather than adjectives. In short, an EMR below 1.00 means the insurer rates the company better than its industry average. For example, IH Services’ EMR is 0.90 and its 2026 TRIR is 1.45. Ask also for the safety program by name and how the company trains it; IH runs the 5-4-0 safety program.

How does supplier qualification work for a prime’s approved supplier list?

Through the prime’s own supplier registration portal or its Supplier Development or Strategic Sourcing team, provided that you bring a complete record: legal name, parent company, CAGE, UEI, NAICS, SAM status, safety metrics, insurance certificate on request, references, and a capability statement. IH Services registers on each target prime’s portal with the exact field values shown on this page, so the record in your system matches the website.

Does IH Services publish its insurance limits?

No. Instead, we provide a current certificate of insurance on request to the sourcing contact, and we maintain coverage at the levels defense prime contracts require.

Need the record in your system this week?

To begin with, tell us which portal or questionnaire you use. We then complete it with the values on this page and send the capability statement the same day.
