April is Child Abuse Awareness Month in Kentucky
March 28, 2014As we do each year, our associates at the corporate office in Greenville have “adopted” a local family.
The family has four school-aged children, and we help ensure they have a very special Christmas. All the little elves have been happily donating food, new clothing, toys and what has amounted to four bulging bags of wrapped goodies for these young tots and their family. It gives us great joy to be a part of making a difference for this family, and we excitedly await the arrival of Santa’s sleigh to pick up and deliver some smiles to Daniel, Cedric, Jessica and Jake.
A Very Special Response
Good morning,
I just want to thank you again for your support and outpouring of gifts. The families yesterday could not believe their eyes and gifts were coming and coming. They appreciated very much including the food and cleaning items. They all expressed, “This is going to be our Best Christmas Ever.” One family said, “I am a growing up person, but I am starting to believe in Santa.”
Thank you for going far and beyond to make Christmas so special for these children and families.
