Scott Whatmough is Founder and CEO of 17 Radial Consulting, where the firm partners with industry to develop and implement growth strategies, optimize organizations to execute those strategies, and provide leadership guidance and mentoring. Prior to founding 17 Radial, he served as Senior Vice President of Engility’s Defense and Security Group, bringing more than 35 years of experience in leadership, program execution, and research and development. Under his leadership, the group delivered highly technical solutions and engineering services supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), including systems engineering, test and evaluation support to DoD and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) systems, and technical consulting for CBRN and medical systems, as well as warfighter training and readiness and logistics and modernization activities. He joined Engility after 30 years at Raytheon, where he led a one billion dollar military electronics systems business and a 6,000-person engineering organization. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
